These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by VB Painting Services ("we", "us", or "our") to any individual or entity ("you" or "the client") who engages us for painting or related services.

By requesting our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

VB Painting Services offers residential and commercial painting, surface preparation, and related services as agreed upon in a written quote or service agreement. Services are subject to availability and scope as defined in our estimates or contracts.

2. Quotes and Estimates

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

  • Quotes are based on the information provided at the time. If additional work is required due to unforeseen circumstances or client changes, the quote may be revised accordingly.

  • Acceptance of a quote constitutes a contractual agreement for the described services.

3. Scheduling and Access

  • We will schedule work based on mutual availability.

  • The client must provide clear and safe access to the worksite during agreed working hours.

  • Any delays caused by restricted access, weather conditions, or other external factors may affect the completion timeline.

4. Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required to confirm a booking.

  • Final payment is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may incur interest charges of 2% per month.

  • VB Painting Services reserves the right to pause or withhold services for non-payment.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for removing fragile items, valuables, and furniture (unless otherwise arranged).

  • The client must inform us of any known issues (e.g., lead paint, moisture damage, structural defects) before work begins.

6. Workmanship Guarantee

  • We offer a [1- or 2-year] workmanship warranty on completed projects (unless otherwise stated in writing).

  • This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, water damage, or issues due to pre-existing surface conditions.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee to cover lost time or materials.

8. Liability

  • We carry public liability insurance for your peace of mind.

  • VB Painting Services is not responsible for damage caused by structural faults, pre-existing conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Use of Photos

  • With your permission, we may take before-and-after photos for marketing purposes. We will never share your address or personal details.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of [Ca. US], and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that area.
